The Fairfax County Public Library serves over 1.2 million residents in Fairfax County. Over 2.1 million volumes are kept on hand at the library, which also circulates over 10 million items annually. The library offers programming and technology services for all age groups in addition to its collection of educational, recreational, and informational resources. These resources are available in its eight regional branches, 14 community branches, and one special branch.
