The Ellen Coolidge Burke Branch Library serves over 155,000 residents in the City of Alexandria and is one of the Alexandria Libraries. The library system maintains 437,641 volumes and circulates approximately 1.1 million items per year. Burke Branch Library is publicly funded and managed and operates every day of the week. It provides a meeting room, a parking lot, printing services, curbside pickup, test proctoring, and other library events and services. It also provides 14 computer stations with high-speed internet access and Microsoft Office programs for public use.
