The Bill Memorial Library serves over 40,000 residents of the city of Groton in New London County, Connecticut. The library maintains a collection of 19,644 volumes and circulates 17,000 items per year, including large print books, classic fiction and nonfiction, picture books, books on CD, electronic resources, and reference collections. It offers computers with internet access and Microsoft Office programs, WiFi, printing/copying/faxing, interlibrary loans, circulating park and museum passes, notary public services, technology help, storytime events, and other programs. Through its membership with the Connecticut Library Consortium, it provides interlibrary loan services, continuing education workshops, and other library events.
