The Saint Helena Island Branch Library is part of the Beaufort County Library, serving about 8,400 residents in the City of Saint Helena Island. The Library System maintains 299,444 volumes and circulates 525,896 items per year. Saint Helena Island Branch has wide offerings, including Mac Lab, Sound Lab, PC Lab, rooms for Meetings, Study, and Conferences, a local history section, and a Gullah-Geechee room and Reconstruction Era room housing cultural materials. It also provides patrons access to 3D printing, photocopying, printing, internet services, and numerous events for all ages.
