The Southworth Library is a publicly funded and managed library that serves more than 30,000 residents in the city of South Dartmouth, a coastal town in Bristol County, Massachusetts. It is an affiliate branch of Dartmouth Public Libraries, founded in 1993. The Southworth Library branch contributes to the overall collection and services of the library system, which include more than 95,000 book and serial volumes, more than 18,000 E-Books, more than 5,000 audio files, and more than 12,000 video files. Additionally, the library system circulates more than 300,000 items, has more than 12,000 registered borrowers, and receives almost 200,000 visitors annually across its three locations.
