The Hyde Park Branch Library serves the residents of the Hyde Park Neighborhood. The library, which became a member of the Boston Public Library in 1912, maintains about 8.2 million books and serial volumes and circulates more than 3.7 million items per year. The library provides reservable community spaces, a children's garden, public computers, printing, scanning, and after-hours book return services in addition to programs like preschool storytime, craft, book club, and teen gaming club.
