The McAuliffe Branch Library provides services to 71,265 residents who live in the north part of Framingham City in Middlesex County. The library system maintains 252,127 volumes and circulates 758,999 items annually, including books, audiobooks, music, magazines, TV shows, and movies. The branch was established in 1963 and renamed in 1987 in honor of teacher and astronaut Christa Corrigan McAuliffe. It currently occupies a building with children and teens' spaces, study rooms, computers, and programming areas.
