The West End Branch Library serves 300,000 residents in the City of Pittsburgh. Established in 1899, the library is part of the Carnegie Library System. The library system maintains 1.5 million volumes and circulates 4 million items per year. West End Branch Library offers books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, music, movies, interlibrary loan services, children's programs, a meeting room, public computers, free Wi-Fi, copying, and wireless printing services.
