The Charles Durham Branch Library serves the Mantua and Powelton residents and is a division of the Free Library of Philadelphia. The library system holds 2.8 million volumes and circulates 7.5 million items annually. Charles Durham Branch Library opened in 1979 as the Mantua Branch Library and was renamed for Judge Charles L. Durham in 1995. It provides computers, a printer, a copier, reference services, book drop boxes, holds pick up, and other library resources and services.
