The Bayard Taylor Memorial Library, now the Kennett Library, serves over 42,000 residents in the Townships of Kennett, East Marlborough, Pennsbury, Pocopson, Newlin, New Garden, and West Marlborough, and the Borough of Kennett Square. The library is part of the Chester County Library System and maintains about 53,000 volumes, with approximately 180,000 items circulated annually. Its collections include books, audiobooks, magazines, reference materials, videos, video games, DVDs, and mobile hotspots. It also provides museum passes to local attractions, as well as a collection of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds. The library offers meeting and study room reservations, adult literacy programs, storytime, and other library events and services.
