The Waban Library Center serves the informational, cultural, and entertainment needs of the residents of Waban City. The library began as a village reading room and is funded by community donations and volunteer work. It maintains 13,229 volumes and circulates 5,000 items annually, including print books, Playaway audiobooks, and CD music collections. In addition, it offers storytimes, book clubs, writing workshops, Medicare workshops, Family Game Day, and other library events and services.
