The South Side Branch Library serves about 2,500 residents of McAdoo, a borough and coal town in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. The library is a division of Hazleton Area Public Library, which holds a collection of 160,000 fiction and non-fiction books, audiobooks, movies, TV shows, magazines, and newspapers and circulates 150,000 items annually. The branch library is open for in-person services from Monday to Wednesday and Thursday during the summer.
