The Northeast Regional Library serves 1.5 million residents in the City of Philadelphia and is the second largest branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia. The library system maintains 2.8 million volumes and circulates 7.5 million items per year. The Northeast Regional Library is sited close to the junction of Cottman and Bustleton Avenues, and it houses over 150,000 books, periodicals collections, a children's department, a meeting room, public computers, ZoomText keyboard, screen-reading software, wireless internet access, and office devices. It offers a variety of programs and services, including computer training, gaming, English language classes, job search assistance, and book drop.
