The Mount Pleasant Regional Library is a Charleston County Public Library Branch and serves 94,545 residents in the Mount Pleasant area of Charleston County. As part of the County Library, the library maintains books, articles, audiobooks, magazines, music, movies, and digital collections. It contributes to the Library System's 756,468 volumes on hand and over 1.3 million items in annual circulation. Mount Pleasant Regional Library opened its doors in January 1992. It occupies a 14,000-square-foot building with meeting spaces, technology upgrades, public computers, WiFi, and spaces for kids and teens. In addition, it offers Google Chromebooks, Mobile Printing, Copying, Printing, and Notary on appointment.
