The Lower Burrell Branch Library serves about 11,700 residents in the city of Lower Burrell in Westmoreland County. The library is one of the two branches of the Peoples Library, a publicly funded and managed library that circulates over 80,000 items annually. The branch was built in 1992 and currently opens from Tuesday to Saturday, providing access to several eBooks, kindle books, and other resources for kids, teens, and adults. Each year, it circulates 61,717 items and maintains a collection of about 54,000 volumes.
