The Lobeco Public Library serves the people living in the Lobeco area and is one of the branches of the Beaufort County Library. The library is publicly funded and managed and contributes to the Library System's 299,444 volumes available on hand and 525,896 items circulated annually. Located a few miles north of Beaufort's Marine Corps Air Station, Lobeco Public Library is open for services from 10 AM Monday to Saturday. It has print and electronic books, DVD collections, meeting rooms, free WiFi, internet computers for public use, and printing/photocopying services.
