The Frankford Branch Library serves the residents of Frankford, Northwood, Bridesburg, and part of Juniata Park in Philadelphia. The library belongs to the Free Library of Philadelphia, which maintains over 2.8 million volumes and circulates 7.5 million items per year. It was established in 1823 and became part of the Free Library around 1900. In addition to traditional library resources, Frankford Branch provides programs and services for all patrons.
