The Fox Chase Branch Library serves 1.5 million residents in Philadelphia and is a part of the Free Library of Philadelphia. The library system maintains 2.8 million volumes and circulates approximately 7.5 million items annually. Library services in the Fox Chase area formally began in 1951 in an old school building. It is now located in a remodeled building at Rhawn Street, providing meeting and study spaces, computers for public use, electrical outlets, office devices, WiFi, and other amenities. The Library is open from Monday to Saturday and offers storytime events and services, including reference, printing, and book drop.
