Fairdale Branch Library serves over 7,000 residents in the City of Fairdale. Established in 1974, the library is part of the Louisville Free Public Library System. The library system maintains 1.2 million volumes and circulates 3.6 million items per year. Fairdale Branch Library offers books, audiobooks, music CDs, DVDs, e-books, study rooms, a community meeting room, public computers with internet access, and copying, printing, and faxing services.
