The Emma L. Andrews Library & Community Center serves about 18,295 residents of Newburyport City in Essex County. The library became a branch of the Newburyport Public Library in 1931 and maintains collections of children's books, adult fiction and nonfiction books, and magazines. It also offers book clubs, storytime, crafts, tween groups, author series, knitting, and yoga events for patrons of all ages.
