The Aiken-Bamberg-Barnwell-Edgefield (ABBE) Regional System serves about 225,690 residents of Aiken and the Counties of Aiken, Bamberg, Barnwell, and Edgefield in South Carolina. The library system includes fourteen library branches and an outreach van serving the people across the four counties. Collectively, ABBE Libraries maintain 251,524 volumes and circulate over 604,000 items per year. The collections include regular books, reference books, fiction, audio CDs, DVDs, microfilms, periodicals, and kits. The library system offers meeting rooms, public computers with wireless internet access, printing/copying/faxing/scanning, and various library programs.
