The Adams Street Branch Library serves the residents living in the Dorchester neighborhood of Suffolk County. The library is publicly funded and a member of the Boston Public Library, which maintains about 8.9 million volumes and circulates more than 3.6 million items per year. These collections include books, audiobooks, eBooks, movies, newspapers, and world language resources in Spanish and Vietnamese. The branch library provides community spaces, computers, laptops, scanning and printing services, and events such as Career Counselling, Beginner Piano Lessons, Storytime, and Yoga activities.
