The Lorain Public Library System is a member of CLEVNET, a network of more than 45 libraries across 12 counties in northern Ohio, managed by the Cleveland Public Library. Serving a population of 135,275 in the city of Lorain, the library system maintains a collection of 456,695 volumes and circulates over 2.3 million items annually. It provides WiFi, meeting rooms, public computers, printing/copying/faxing, passport services, tutoring and exam proctoring, curbside pickup, summer reading, and other library programs. Additionally, the library system has a Culinary Literacy Center, which is a demonstration kitchen that offers programs and activities for patrons to learn how to cook and eat healthy and nutritious meals
