The Guernsey County District Public Library serves over 40,000 residents of the city of Cambridge and Guernsey County through three library locations. It comprises the Downtown Library, Crossroads Branch, and Byesville Branch, maintaining a collection of roughly 135,820 volumes and circulating approximately 303,800 items per year. In addition to traditional library resources, digital and genealogy collections, the library provides memory kits, exploration kits, Celestron microscope kits, disc golf, telescope. It offers room reservations, home delivery, storytime, book clubs, and numerous other programs for all ages.
