The Long Beach Island Branch Library serves 1,275 residents in the Surf City area and is a part of the Ocean County Library. The Library System maintains 1.3 million volumes, including print books, eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, music, DVDs, videogames, and local history materials. Approximately 4.6 million items are circulated annually by the public library. The Long Beach Island Branch provides computers for public use, wireless internet access, technology services, and various programs for all ages.
