The Glassboro Public Library Branch serves 20,786 residents in the City of Glassboro and is a Gloucester County Library System member. The library system maintains 205,938 volumes and circulates 572,892 items per year. The Glassboro Public Branch opened in 1956 in the Glassboro Police Reserve's meeting room and became a branch of the Gloucester County Library System in 1996. It is housed in an 8,500-square-foot building and holds collections of books, magazines, CDs, audiobooks, Playaways, videos, and multicultural books. It provides Makerspace, book sales, Interlibrary loans, fax, notary services, and programs for children and adults.
