The Waretown Branch Library serves 2,514 residents in the community of Waretown and is a part of the Ocean County Library. The Library System maintains 1.3 million volumes and circulates 4.6 million items, including print books, eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, music, DVDs, video games, and local history materials. Waretown Branch Library opened its doors in December 1982 and is housed in a 3,500-square-foot building with a meeting room. It offers programs like Storytime, Mah Jongg, Writer's Group, Tween Art, and Crafts.
