The Thompson Library Station serves about 2,280 residents of Thompson Township and is a part of the Geauga County Public Library System. The library maintains a collection of 431,500 volumes, 49,400 audio, 61,780 videos, and over 213,000 electronic books and circulates approximately two million items per year. The Thompson branch is housed in an 8,956-square-foot building with two study rooms, one large conference room, Frances Spatz Leighton reading room, and the Perennial Garden maintained by the Thompson Garden Club.
