The Swansboro Branch Library serves about 4,050 residents in the City of Swansboro and is a part of the Onslow County Public Library. The Library System operates four locations - Jacksonville, Richlands, Swansboro, and Sneads Ferry Branches. It maintains 130,000 volumes and circulates 573,878 items per year. Swansboro Branch Library has an Adult Computer Lab with 11 computer workstations, Internet, and Microsoft Office, and a Youth Computer Lab with two computers, Internet, and Microsoft Office. It also offers a 35-seating capacity meeting room, family storytime events, conversations in Swansboro history for adults, and other library programs for all ages.
