The Halifax County Library serves over 38,000 residents of the city of Halifax and is part of the Halifax County Library System in North Carolina. The library maintains a collection of 92,400 volumes and circulates approximately 124,000 items per year, including regular books, large print books, and electronic resources. It also provides exercise equipment, healthy living equipment & resources, hotspots, iPods, and Braille books. The library offers public computers, WiFi access, printing, copying, faxing, and scanning, as well as activities such as crafts, storytime, reading challenges, and summer programs.
