The Lorain Branch Library is part of the Cleveland Public Library and serves Cleveland residents. Every year, the library system maintains around 3.2 million volumes and circulates approximately 6.9 million items. The library, which first opened its doors in 1912, now occupies an 8,400-square-foot building that has a seed library, free wifi, and public computers with Internet access, as well as printing, copying, scanning, and faxing facilities. The Lorain Branch functions as a mini-TechCentral, including a 3D printer, a 3D scanner, a SmartBoard, and two sewing machines.
