The Highland County District Library serves over 43,000 Highland County residents through five branch libraries. With the Main Library located in the city of Hillsboro, the district library has locations spread across Greenfield, Lynchburg, Leesburg, and Rocky Fork. A collection of roughly 161,000 volumes is maintained in the system, and more than 549,000 items circulate each year. The library also provides voter registration forms, Golden Buckeye forms, microfilms, and access to research databases. Other services available to the public include meeting rooms, WiFi, public computers, and faxing.
