The Craft Memorial Library serves about 50,000 residents of Mercer County and the neighboring communities in West Virginia. Located in the city of Bluefield, the library maintains more than 52,000 volumes and circulates approximately 59,000 items per year, including regular books, large print books, CDs, DVDs, local newspapers, and magazines. Services available to the public include meeting rooms, Bluefield obituary searches, computers, printing, photocopying, and faxing. The library also offers a seed lending program that allows patrons to borrow and donate plant seeds.
