The Chilton-Clanton Public Library serves about 45,000 residents of the city of Clanton and Chilton County, Alabama. The library system includes Chilton/Clanton Public Library and Jemison and Maplesville branches. It maintains a collection of more than 80,000 volumes and circulates 52,360 items per year. In addition to traditional library resources, it provides blood pressure kits for checkout as well as iPads and Chromebooks for in-library use. The library offers meeting room services, public computers, printing, copying, scanning, faxing, and laminating services. It also hosts summer reading programs, toddler time, book clubs, and other library events.
