The East Syracuse Free Library serves about 3,084 residents of Onondaga County in the city of East Syracuse. The library was started in 1924 by community leaders and currently maintains about 30,121 volumes and circulates 81,100 items per year. These items include fiction and nonfiction in print, audiobooks, periodicals, eBooks, videos, downloadable music, and reference materials for students of all ages. It also provides public access computers, wireless internet, and copy/fax machine at its location from Monday to Saturday.
