The Six Mile Regional Library serves about 43,000 residents of Madison County in Illinois, including the communities of Granite City, Mitchell, and Pontoon Beach. The library maintains over 89,000 volumes and circulates 236,330 items per year. Its items include, but are not limited to, books, audiobooks, periodicals, music CDs, DVDs, video games, and kits. It also houses a collection of flower and vegetable seeds available for checkout in the Seed Library. The library offers services such as WiFi, printing, copying, scanning, faxing, test proctoring, home delivery, and passport services. It also hosts summer reading programs, Legos, and storytime events.
