The Indian Prairie Public Library serves over 42,000 residents of the city of Darien in DuPage County, Illinois. The library maintains more than 144,000 volumes and circulates approximately 901,000 items per year. These include books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, Blu-rays, board games & puzzles, Playaways, music CDs, console games, kits, packs, bundles, tablets, Launchpads, vinyl records, Vox Books & Wonderbooks, Rokus, hotspots, and other Library of Things items. There is also a seed library on the second floor of the library that provides a variety of open pollinated and heirloom seeds for checkout. The library offers museum passes, meeting room reservations, public computers with Internet and Microsoft Office suite, laptops, printing & faxing, passport services, test proctoring, and homebound delivery.
