The Shady Spring District Library serves about 3,000 residents in Shady Spring, Raleigh County, West Virginia. The library, previously known as Stralie Walker Branch, was founded in 1984 by the

Shady Spring Women’s Club and the Stralie Walker family and was renamed in 2000. Its collections include books, audiobooks, magazines, movies, DVDs, and music that cover various topics, including fiction and non-fiction. The library has public computers, Wi-Fi, and meeting rooms, and also provides printing, copying, fax, and notary services as well as other programs for children and adults.
