The Rock River Branch Library, one of the 3 affiliate libraries under the Albany County (WY) Library System, serves two hundred fifty-eight residents in Rock River, a town in Albany County, Wyoming. The Rock River Branch contributes to the overall collection and services of the Albany County (WY) Library System, which maintains a little more than a hundred thousand book and serial volumes and circulates almost two hundred thousand items per year. Founded in 1887, the Albany County (WY) Library System now has two branches plus the main branch at Laramie. Additionally, Rock River was recalled to be located in an old bank building, and today it is on Avenue D.
