The East Albemarle Regional Library System serves over 108,000 residents in the Counties of Camden, Currituck, Dare, and Pasquotank in Northeastern North Carolina, through its eight branch libraries and book drop locations. The Pasquotank County Library in Elizabeth City serves as the administrative office of the library system. More than 202,000 volumes are maintained in the system's collections, and approximately 497,900 items are circulated annually. Services available to the public include meeting rooms for non-profit groups, wireless internet access, computers for public use, printing, photocopying, faxing, interlibrary loans, and outreach services. Additionally, the library hosts regular events and activities for all ages, including summer reading programs and storytimes.
