The Cranston Public Library is a six-member library system serving about 80,000 residents of the city of Cranston in Providence County, Rhode Island. It includes the Central Library, Arlington Branch, Auburn Branch, Knightsville Branch, Oak Lawn Branch, and William Hall Library. The library system maintains over 277,000 volumes and circulates approximately 819,000 items per year. In addition to traditional library resources, it provides museum passes and memory care kits. Services available to the public include meeting room reservations, print/copy/scan/fax services, notary services, computer classes, tech help, and homebound delivery. Additionally, the library offers English as a Second Language (ESL) and Citizenship classes, open tech time, and storytime events.
