The Tyler Public Library, one of the Libraries of Foster, serves 4,606 residents in the City of Foster. The library maintains about 17,600 volumes and circulates roughly 14,000 items per year. The Tyler Public Library opened in January 1896 and provides history collections and special resources such as Realia (cake pans), Paintings, and Carol Woodruff Szosz collection, including art, gardening, baking, sewing, and children's books. It also provides various events for all ages.
