The BC at BC (Makerspace) is a technology-themed library serving about 5,560 residents in Bessemer City, Gaston County. The library was a traditional branch of the Gaston County Public Library before it became a Makerspace in 2018. BC at BC Makerspace is equipped with 1-inch Button Maker, Raspberry Pi, Dot and Dash, Silhouette Cameo 3, Green Screen, Sphero Sprk+, Laminator, STEAM Kits, Makey Makey, Ultimaker 2, 3D Printer, and Osmo Genius. Patrons of the library can utilize these tools to participate in hands-on learning and activate their creativity skills. The Library also offers various programs for all ages, including Family Storytime and Book Club.
