The Jackson-George Regional Library System serves about 163,000 residents in the city of Pascagoula. It comprises eight branch libraries in East Central, Gautier, Lucedale, Moss Point, Ocean Springs, Pascagoula, St. Martin, and Vancleave. The library maintains 240,520 volumes and circulates 901,600 items per year, including books, audiobooks, magazines, ebooks, CDs, and roughly 6,500 DVD collections. It also has over 5,000 genealogy volumes spanning family histories, state &county histories, city directories, land records, death records, cemetery records, genealogical research guides, and census indices available at the Single River Genealogy & Local History Library. It provides legal resources at the law library, free WiFi, public computers, computer classes, mobile printing, workshops, and various local events.
