The Hinckley Public Library serves 1,935 residents in the Pine County's City of Hinckley. The library is part of the East Central Regional Library and contributes to its collections of 250,000 books, CDs, DVDs, and 45,000 digital materials. More than 820,140 items are circulated annually by the Library System. Hinckley Public Library joined the Library System in 1959. It provides books of different genres, newspapers, magazines, a meeting room, public computers with Microsoft Office Suite, printing/copying/faxing services, test proctoring, and other library events, including LEGO Lego, Family Storytime, and Virtual Dungeons & Dragons.
