The Towson Area Branch Library serves over 57,500 Towson City residents. The library is a Baltimore County Library member and the Library system maintains 1.4 million volumes, with 10.5 million items circulated annually. These items include fiction and nonfiction books, audiobooks, electronic materials, movies, documentaries, instructional videos, TV series, music, and video games. The Towson branch offers 24-hour book drop, assistive workstations, Spanish collections, and public computers with the internet and Microsoft Office packages. In addition, it provides passport services, printing, copying, and faxing.
