The Springville Road Regional Branch Library is part of the Birmingham Public Library, serving 196,910 residents in the City of Birmingham. The Library System maintains 754,521 volumes and circulates 874,679 items per year. Opened in 1981, the Springville Road Regional Branch replaced the Huffman Branch Library established in 1963, and is located close to the Huffman High School. It houses books, magazines, newspapers, music, and movies for children and adults. It is one of the U.S. Department of State passport application acceptance facilities, and also offers public computers, WiFi access, office services, and various library programs.
