The Savage Branch & STEM Education Center serves over 24,800 residents in Savage and North Laurel communities in southeastern Howard County, Maryland. The library is a part of the Howard County Library System, which holds approximately 1.1 million volumes and circulates 8.5 million items annually, including specialized collections of Art and Equity Resources. The branch offers seminars for kids, teens, and adults as well as technology services like printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. It also has public computers, Linux OS workstations with LibreOffice Suite, a vending cafe, and a seating area.
