The P.D. Brown Memorial Library serves 81,410 residents in the city of Waldorf, Charles County. The library opened to the public in 1964, was renamed in 1981 in honor of Charles County Public Library's founder, P.D. Brown, and currently holds a collection of more than 200,000 items, including print books, audiobooks, and movies.
