The Milton R. Abrahams Branch Library is a part of the Omaha Public Library, serving 485,153 residents in the City of Omaha, Douglas County. The library opened its doors in 1988 and was named in honor of a local attorney and community philanthropist Milton R. Abrahams. As an affiliate of the Omaha Public Library, it contributes some parts to its 704,256 volumes in collections and over three million items in circulation annually. Abraham Library houses books, music, and DVD resources, the Do Space Technology library, OPL Art, Meeting and Study rooms, and a Computer Lab. It offers free WiFi, curbside pickup, printing, copying, scanning, faxing services, storytime events, and other library programs. It is ADA-accessible and open to the public seven days a week.
